Who Owns It — Oslo Workshop

WHO OWNS IT WORKSHOP

13th and 14th of August, 2012, at the Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature, University of Oslo.

The talks will be 90 mins long, including an informal QA and there will also be some timeslots assigned for the screening of films, at the end of each day.

The group will be basically us, and maybe some locals. Here is the proposed schedule.

Please let me know if you have any special requests (projector, etc.) or would like to change the date/time of your talk. Also, let me know if you have any dietary requirements.

Hotel Rica Holberg

To get to the Hotel Rica Holberg from the airport,  the best option is to take the Airport Express train to  ‘Nationaltheatret’ (the National Theatre), and walk five minutes down  Fredriks gate and take to the left up Tullins gate and walk for 200  meters to you see the hotel right in front of you. Please review the  Google Maps link below. The airport express train leaves for the  Nationalteatheateret every 20 minutes.

Hello all,

and welcome to the Who Owns It blog, where we will be updating the latest information on the project (you can subscribe by clicking on the “Subscribe” button on the left-hand column, and that way you will get the notifications of new posts automatically to your email account.)

For the time being, the news are that our first workshop will be held at the Centre for the Study of Mind in  Nature, University of Oslo, during the 30th and 31st of July 2012.

More details on the workshop will be posted soon. The basic idea is for the core members to meet and know each other, and to present on their topics of expertise regarding land claims in Latin America and their implications from a legal, historical, anthropological, socio-political and ethical point of view.
